The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Logistics Professionals, CIPLP have eight classes of membership.
Student Membership (SCPLP): The Student Membership is for any person enrolled in the CIPLP educational member program and such person is for the purpose of ascertaining the professional designation of either GCPLP or ACPLP.
Graduate Membership (GCPLP): Graduate Membership is for any person who newly graduated from tertiary institutions with no working experience or less than one year working experience but has interest in procurement, operations, supply chain management, inventory management, vendor management, warehousing, and transport and logistics profession. Upon satisfaction of the requirements for Graduate Membership and
passing the prescribed examinations, shall become a Graduate Member and be granted the right to use the designation of Graduate Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, GCPLP. The total fee for Graduate Membership is $200.00. Graduate Membership fee is $150.00 while $50.00 is for Registration fee.
Associate Membership (ACPLP): Associate Membership is open to any person who has successfully graduated from recognized tertiary institutions with Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent. Such person must having working experience of above one year but less than five years either in related area or non-related area but have interest in
procurement, operations, supply chain management, inventory management, vendor management, warehousing, transport and logistics profession.
Upon satisfaction of the requirements for Associate Membership and passing the prescribed examinations, shall become an Associate Member and shall be granted the right to the designation of Associate Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, ACPLP. The total fee for Associate Membership is $300.00. Associate Membership fee is $250.00 while $50.00 is for Registration fee.
Full Membership (MCPLP): Full Membership of the CIPLP is for any person who holds the designation of ACPLP of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Logistics Professionals. In addition of holding the designation of ACPLP, must have attended the CIPLP Continuous Development Professional Training for a minimum of three times.
Upon satisfaction of the requirements of Full Membership, shall be granted the right to use the designation of Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, MCPLP. The total fee for Full Membership is $400.00. Full Membership fee is $350.00 while $50.00 is for Registration fee.
Fellow Membership (FCPLP): A person shall be admitted as a Fellow Member if he or she is either a Full Member of CIPLP or has a high professional standing and working experience of 15 years and above in procurement, operations, supply chain management, inventory management, vendor management, warehousing, transport and logistics.
Upon satisfaction of the requirements of Fellow Membership, such person shall be granted the right to use the designation of Fellow Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, FCPLP. The total fee for Fellow Membership is $500.00. Fellow Membership fee is $450.00 while $50.00 is for Registration fee.
Doctoral Fellow Membership (Dr. FCPLP): A person shall be admitted and registered as a Doctoral Fellow Membership of CIPLP, if such a person is a Full Member of the CIPLP or has a high professional standing and working experience of eighteen years and above in procurement, operations, supply chain management,
inventory management, vendor management, warehousing, transport and logistics.
Upon satisfaction of the requirements of Doctoral Fellow Membership, such person shall be granted the right to use the designation of Doctoral Fellow Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, Dr. FCPLP. The total fee for Doctoral Fellow Membership is $600.00. Doctor Fellow Membership fee is $500.00 while $100.00 is for Registration fee.
Corporate Membership: The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Logistics Professionals Corporate Membership is opened to corporate organizations and higher institutions involved in procurement, operations, supply chain management, inventory management, vendor management, warehousing, transport and logistics. Corporate Membership when conferred to an organization or higher institution will act as a professional recognition to the corporate entity. The fee for Corporate Membership is $300.00.
Honorary Fellow Membership (Hon. FCPLP): CIPLP shall confer Honorary Fellow Membership to individuals who have by virtue of hard work distinguished themselves in their industry or career.
Upon conferring the Honorary Fellow Membership, such individual has the right to use the designation of Honorary Fellow Chartered Procurement and Logistics Professional, Hon. FCPLP. The fee for Honorary Fellow Membership is $600.00.
